Mystery enamelware

 After more than 8 yrs I finally discovered what this item was today thanks to the beauty of the internet. https://posh.mk/UAe3W6anvIb It was originally used in hospitals during war times but now it is strictly for decorative purposes. The enamel has some wear which is normal for its age. It was made for the US military to use in hospitals.  It was filled with water and Vicks Vapporrub, put over a heat source and positioned in between beds to help sick patients breathe. Measure 7 " high x 5 3/4" wide. Tags: World War memorabilia Update: I posted this item on my Poshmark site as a decorative item and they rejected based on their Prohibited items policy, go figure!

Shabby chic, Retro styling

The silver-plated spoons are designed to either hang from the holders to the side of the stand or kept in the pots in the space provided in the lids.
